Scana Clinches Riser Forgings Order for GoM

Scana Industrier ASA has been awarded contract to deliver machined riser forgings through Scana Subsea AB.

The high tensile forgings are intended for the the Gulf of Mexico, the company informed.

The total contract value is approximately SEK 32 million (USD 3.7 million). The scope includes forging and machining of riser joints in low alloyed steel.

Manufacturing is planned to start immediately and deliveries will start from third quarter 2016 to second quarter 2017.

The contract will involve Scana Steel Björneborg and Scana Subsea AB both owned by Scana Energy AB.
