EMAS AMC has hired Italian diving specialist Rana to provide diving services for the installation and hook up of the new floating storage and offloading (FSO) vessel Gaza.

The FSO Gaza will replace the FSO Sloug at Bouri field located 120 kilometers north of the Libyan coast in the Mediterranean Sea.

The diving services will be carried out with Rana mobile saturation diving system AF01 which will be fitted on board EMAS’ multipurpose support vessel Lewek Toucan.

Lewek Toucan is an advanced vessel with dive support capabilities and accommodations for a crew of 100.

The installation activities on the field are expected to start end-March/early-April this year.
