New Umbilicals International’s Member to Establish UK Facility

Joe Gorman has been appointed Operations Manager at Umbilicals International UK, part of the Seanamic Group.

Formerly production manager at Hydrasun, Aberdeen, he will be responsible for establishing a UK based umbilicals service and manufacturing facility.

The new UK umbilical facility will extend Umbilical International’s reach to supply to North Sea, Norwegian and African projects.

“The new umbilical facility will ultimately produce customised, project-based umbilicals. Importantly, it will reduce the lead time from engineering-to-delivery, significantly increasing our speed of response in this highly specialised market,” says Bob Connors, CEO, Umbilicals International.
