ETA, the subsea cable specialist engineering firm based in Hampshire UK, has been awarded a contract to supply power joints and dry mate connectors to Wave Hub, the wave energy test site located in Cornwall UK.

ETA has strengthened its portfolio of clients building on its involvement in the Cape Sharp and Delta Stream projects, which also incited the launch of a new division to focus on the provision of marine cable connectors, terminations and accessories.

ETA Connect’s managing director, Andrew Thomas, said: “We are very excited to be working with Wave Hub. The award of the contract is superb news for ETA and demonstrates that our policy providing a high quality, robust and cost effective solution is what the industry should expect and benefit from.”
