IKM Subsea Ready for IMR Work for Shell

IKM Subsea is set to begin work for Norske Shell on Ormen Lange and Draugen fields, as a part of 5 + 5 year contract to provide IMR and ROV services.

The company has integrated the Merlin UCV ROV into the Siem Pride to be able to conduct the work. In addition to the ROV work, IKM Subsea will provide IMR related engineering and maintenance of Norske Shell’s tool pool, as well as handling survey through business partner iSurvey.

The 2016 scope of work will include pipeline surveys, structure inspections, wellhead inspections, and AMT recovery.

“Norske Shell requires high quality solutions in a cost effective manner. This is a challenge, but also a great opportunity for IKM Subsea to push the limits of what is considered the industry standard and to evolve as a company,” said Hans Fjellanger, Business Development Manager of IKM Subsea.
