Rem Ends Charter Deal with Adams Offshore

Norwegian vessel owner, Rem Ship, has terminated the charter party with Adams Offshore for the CSV Rem Poseidon, due to non-fulfilment of charterers obligation, Rem Offshore said on Monday.

The Rem Poseidon is a multi-support and construction ship built by Kleven in 2009.

The Oslo-listed company entered into a charter agreement for the vessel in June 2014. The charter agreement had a firm duration to November 2017 with further two six-months options.

According to its parent company, Rem Ship has bank guarantees that secure payments through second quarter.
