Heerema Marine Contractors Names New CCO

Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) has appointed Harke Jan Meek in the position of chief commercial officer (CCO) as per June 1, 2016.

In this capacity Harke Jan Meek will be member of the HMC board and be responsible for the commercial and technology departments.

Meek was appointed senior vice president commercial in October 2013 after having started his career with HMC in commercial and business development roles for SURF projects.

Before joining HMC, he worked in business development functions for SBM Offshore and on LNG projects for Shell. Harke Jan Meek holds an MSc degree in offshore engineering from Delft University of Technology and an MBA from the University of Texas.
