Focal Marine Sees Its CSV and DSV Designs Launched
Two DP 3 offshore support vessels, designed by Focal Marine & Offshore, have been recently launched in China.
Namely, a construction support vessel (CSV) FOCAL 530 and dive support vessel (DSV) FOCAL 523.
FOCAL 530 CSV is with LOA of 115m, diesel electric azimuth propulsion, two offshore cranes, one walk-to-work AHC gangway, and accommodation for 300 persons. The vessel is built in Huangpu Shipyard.
FOCAL 523 DSV is with LOA of 105m, diesel electric Voith propulsion. The vessel is installed with built-in 15 men SAT diving system for 300 MSW, 150t AHC subsea crane and ROV facilities including chamber for dual working class ROVs. The vessel is built in Mawei Shipyard and has accommodation for 120 persons.
Both vessels are with firm charter contract in position.
