Zwerver II Supports Jan de Nul at Burbo Bank Extension

HvS Dredging Support’s multipurpose DP2 vessel ‘Zwerver II’ has supported Jan de Nul on an offshore wind farm project in the Irish Sea.

Jan de Nul chartered the vessel to install mattresses, along with pre-lay and post-lay services, at the Burbo Bank 2 offshore wind farm.

The vessel installed 100 mattresses during the past three weeks, the company informed through its social media.

The vessel also assisted during the beach-pull of the export cable.

The Burbo Bank 2 wind farm is expected to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2017.
