Eidesvik Board Member Steps Down

Norwegian vessel owner Eidesvik informed that Kjell E. Jacobsen will resign from its board of directors.

Jacobsen is a partner at oil and gas technology investment company Energy Ventures, and is independent of Eidesvik Invest AS, the majority shareholder of the company.

He was formerly the managing director of Seadrill Management AS, and before that worked at Smedvig ASA, Statoil and Citibank.

The Oslo-listed company, which booked a revenue drop of 25 percent in the first quarter of this year, said it will hold for an extraordinary general meeting to elect a new director.
