INTECSEA Gets New President

Advisian, an independent management and technical consulting business line of the WorleyParsons, has appointed Geeta Thakorlal to the position of president for INTECSEA, effective immediately.

Geeta succeeds Neil Mackintosh, who will take on the role of executive vice president of global sales and marketing for Advisian, the company informed.

Incoming president Geeta Thakorlal previously served as global head of INTECSEA’s Offshore Select business and senior vice president for the INTECSEA Australia/New Zealand region.

Outgoing president and industry veteran Neil Mackintosh, in his new role as executive vice president, will lead all marketing and sales efforts across Advisian.

“INTECSEA and its people have seen great success under Neil’s watch. Despite incredibly challenging market conditions, INTECSEA has gained market share and developed a strong position in key markets such as India, Nigeria, Egypt, and Mexico.” said Dennis Finn, Advisian CEO. “We thank Neil for his constant enthusiasm and strong leadership of INTECSEA, and look forward to him carrying that energy and enthusiasm into Advisian’ s global sales and marketing efforts.”

“We are thrilled to have Geeta serve in the role of president,” Finn continued. “Geeta has been a formidable and influential industry presence during her time at WorleyParsons and will undoubtedly lead with distinction and continue to drive INTECSEA and the wider business forward.”

Geeta earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in chemical and materials engineering from the University of Auckland. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers and a fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia.
