Seaproof Solutions to Protect Norther OWF Cables

Seaproof Solutions has been awarded a contract by Van Oord Dredging and Marine Contractors for the supply of cable protection systems for Norther offshore wind farm project.

Norther is an offshore wind farm covering 44 wind turbines, with a maximum capacity of 370 MW that will be built in the Belgian North Sea, approximately 23 kilometres from the Belgian port of Zeebruges.

The contract awarded by Van Oord covers the design and supply of 89 cable protection systems for the inner array grid and the export cables

This is the 16th offshore wind farm project for Seaproof Solutions, taking the total number of cable protection systems supplied to more than 1,200 systems.
