Solstad Farstad Secures Two Contract Extensions

Solstad Farstad has agreed contract extensions for two of its vessels.

The first extension is for the construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Pacific with Prysmian Powerlink, the Prysmian Group’s company responsible for the development of the “turnkey” submarine cable systems.

The contract has been extended one year to November 2018.

Normand Pacific vessel, of Skipsteknisk ST 256 L CD design, started the contract in 2016.

Furthermore, Solstad Farstad’s platform supply vessels (PSV) Normand Naley secured the extension for six months to May 2018, to support the clients operations in Norway.

The contract extensions have a total value of approximately NOK 80 million.
