Flexlife Scores Riser Monitoring Deal in GoM
Flexlife has been selected to design, supply and install FlexSentinel monitoring systems for three floating production platforms in the Gulf of Mexico.
The systems will provide annulus monitoring for six flexible risers.
FlexSentinel annulus monitoring system provides real-time data, trending and alarms for flexible riser permeation rates and outer sheath integrity.
“Understanding the condition of a flexible riser’s annulus is a vital component of integrity maintenance. The order of these systems has shown our client’s commitment to long-term safety and asset integrity,” Flexlife said.
The client and financial details surrounding the deal have not been disclosed.
