PGS Completes 3D Seismic Off Guinea
Ramform Atlas; Photo: PGSNorwegian seismic player PGS has completed a multi-client 3D acquisition offshore Republic of Guinea.
PGS’ latest acquisition covered blocks A4 and A5 offshore Guinea and was completed on 8th May 2019. Fast-track processing is ongoing.
The Guinea survey is PGS’ first multi-client project in collaboration with the Republic of Guinea and marks the start of a series of planned acquisitions.
The Ramform Atlas seismic survey vessel started operations in mid-February and acquired 3D seismic data for 84 successive days.
The survey covered area of 7,900 square kilometers with water depth ranging between 60 – 4500 meters.
