UK: Aegir Wave Power Provides Project Information Document

Aegir Wave Power, in collaboration with the Shetland Islands Council and the Shetland Charitable Trust, have produced a new information document giving an overview of the Aegir Project.

The short, ‘Aegir Project Introduction’, is intended as a guide to all interested parties and gives an overview of the project location, Pelamis technology and the project development process.

Aegir Wave Power is a joint venture between the Swedish utility Vattenfall and Pelamis Wave Power, and was set-up in 2009 with the aim of developing and deploying a Pelamis wave power project off the southwest coast of Shetland.
