UK: Van Oord OWP Completes Installation of Monopiles at Teesside Wind Farm

Van Oord Offshore Wind Projects has successfully installed all 27 monopiles for the Teesside Wind Farm.

Foundation installation began on the 6th of February 2012 and the last monopile has been installed last weekend. This means that the installation of the Monopiles has been completed ahead of schedule.

Van Oord OWP will commence transition piece installation in the second half of June 2012. Van Oord as EPC contractor is responsible for engineering, procurement and installation of the foundations and cable installation for the Teesside project. Furthermore Van Oord will install all wind turbines at Teesside.
