FTL Subsea are developing a mooring connector to provide simple and robust mooring line connection at the seabed.

The product incorporates five key features required by customers:

- Simple double shear load path with full diameter pin contact

- Top entry installation

- Self –alignment for main load pin

- Auto locking of the pin

- Simple ROV operation

The manufacturing partner Vulcan SFM (part of the Sheffield Forgemaster’s International Group) provides FTL Subsea with their metallurgical knowledge and a long history of supplying the oil and gas industry with critical load path components.
