Stork Presents at ADIPEC 2013

Stork Technical Services, the leading global provider of knowledge-based asset integrity services for the oil & gas, chemical and power sectors, will showcase some of its latest industry-leading technology at ADIPEC 2013 in Abu Dhabi.

With its presence at the Middle East’s largest oil & gas event, Stork will demonstrate its ability to offer its customers integrated asset integrity services right through the asset life cycle.

Hani Almaimani, Vice President Middle East for Stork Technical Services, said: “We have significant growth plans for the Middle East and are committed to the ongoing development of our technology portfolio, service offering and geographical footprint. We now offer an unrivalled range of asset integrity solutions across the region and I am confident that we can continue the success of this year into 2014 and beyond.”

At ADIPEC 2013 the Netherlands-based company will show some of its award-winning innovations, featuring new technologies and live demonstrations:

Among the key products in the line-up for the show, to be held in Abu Dhabi from November 10-13, are Stork’s Hot Bolt Clamp, which enables safe removal and replacement of corroded bolts on live four-bolt flanged connections with no disruption to ongoing production.

Another innovative product at the exhibition is Stork’s Snap Ring Joint, which has been developed in direct response to industry concerns about welding in environments with ignition hazard and where there is a need for light, strong pipe connections with a small footprint.

Also presented at ADIPEC 2013 is Stork’s Nozzle Scanner; a fast, accurate and highly efficient tool for Phased Array UT inspection of pressure vessels during the fabrication stage and in-service inspections requiring code-compliant inspection of nozzle welds.

“Stork is a world-class company with a quality brand, employing some of the industry’s brightest people”, Mr. Almaimani continued. “We are committed to delivering safe, high-quality and efficient services that help operators extend the life cycle of their assets. Our presence at ADIPEC 2013 demonstrates that we are continuing to take significant steps in developing and offering the solutions our industry needs.”
