Oceanscience Becomes HYPACK Software OEM Partner

Biosonics-Boat

The Oceanscience Group have been appointed as an authorized HYPACK® OEM partner, to further strengthen the available options for the popular Z-Boat® 1800 remotely-operated hydrographic survey boat.

Oceanscience can now supply their top specification single beam and side-scan equipped Z-Boats, largely used by land survey and engineering firms or dedicated hydrographic survey operators as a full turnkey package including HYPACK® software.

With a digital full water column echogram driver for the Z-Boat’s CEE HydroSystems CEESCOPE™ or CEE ECHO™ singlebeam echosounders, the software interface brings familiar and proven editing and QC tools to the remote survey process.

Operating the Z-Boat® in autonomous mode, with robotic survey line following is made even easier as the HYPACK® line plan can be uploaded into the robotic control interface with just a couple of clicks. With HYPACK’s automatic start and stop “gates” enabled for soundings, the Z-Boat® and HYPACK®) combination can run robotic surveys with minimal operator involvement while the boat is on the line plan.
