BG Group’s Non-Executive Director Retires
BG Group plc announces that Peter Backhouse will retire from the Board at the conclusion of the Company’s Annual General Meeting to be held on 15 May 2014.
Commenting, BG Group’s Chairman, Andrew Gould said:
“On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Peter for his considerable contribution to BG Group over almost fourteen years.
“Peter’s experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, and his extensive commitment to the Company, have proved invaluable. His role on a number of our Committees, latterly as a member of the Sustainability Committee, have enriched the Board’s collective understanding and its ability to guide the Company’s strategy over the last decade.”
