Chinese Orient Cable Bags OWF Cable Deal

Chinese subsea cable provider, Ningbo Orient Cable Co., has won a bid to supply submarine cables for Fujian Putian Shicheng Yugang offshore wind project.

The company will supply 220kV optical composite submarine cables and related equipment for the project.

The contract has a value of approximately 122.46 million yuan (USD 19.7million).

Delivery of the cables is expected in the second quarter of 2015.

Orient informed that it has received a notice of the award and the contract is expected to be signed soon.
