Neptune Adds New ROVs to Its Fleet

Neptune Marine Services, a provider of integrated inspection, repair and maintenance solutions, has announced an expansion of it’s ROV fleet, by adding two fully refurbished 150 HP TMRV systems.

According to the Neptune, the acquisition is a part of the company’s strategic ‘One Neptune’ growth plan and brings the total number of work class ROVs within Neptune’s fleet to 15.

The two systems are both rated to 3,000 m and come with a Tether Management System. New ROVs provide Neptune with the capability to perform a broad range of ROV tasks including pipeline surveys, Inspection Repair and Maintenance operations, drill support and heavy duty construction operations.

Scott Freeland, ROV & Survey General Manager at Neptune said: “Neptune currently undertakes a wide range of intervention and subsea survey activities on a global basis in the Oil & Gas and Renewable sectors and these latest acquisitions will play an integral role in allowing the company to support our current and future clients and their operations. This acquisition allows Neptune to offer its clients a flexible and cost effective solution, from free flying WROVs to TMS based WROVs.”

Neptune also informed that the first vehicle is available for works at the end of February, with the second vehicle scheduled for delivery mid-March.
