Thalassa Holdings’ marine geophysical services specialist, WGP Group (WGP), has entered into a contract to provide long term seismic acquisition services to ConocoPhillips Skandinavia (CoP).

WGP will acquire seismic data sets on the Ekofisk field in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.

According to Thalassa, the seismic acquisition contract has an initial five-year term.

Furthermore, Thalassa said that it expects current estimated revenue for 2015 and minimum estimated revenues for 2016 and 2017, from the two seismic services agreements currently in place, to be between US$7.5 million and US$10.0 million in 2016 and between US$10.0 million and US$12.0 million in 2017.

However, the company noted that this does not take into account any revenues which might be earned from High Resolution 3-D and from multi-client data sales which are estimated to amount in aggregate to US$9.3 million of total estimated revenues of US$18.5 million in 2015.
