UDS Newbuild to Sail under Canadian Flag

Ultra Deep Solutions (UDS) informed that its “Deep Installer” vessel will be Canadian flagged.

The vessel, based on the proprietary design “Red Class 6027” MT design DSCV, is a DP3, 143-meter multipurpose subsea diving support construction vessel.

Reportedly, this should be the first “Canadian Flagged” DSCV in history after its delivery, scheduled for Q1 2018.

“We as a group looked at Flag and Class of this particular ship. UDS feels that both are the right decision. We now look forward to delivery in 2018. These are proud moments for us as our dreams were always to have a Canadian Flagged vessel in our Fleet.

“My roots go back where I started my Dive career in Canada and every Diver who steps onboard will be proud of this vessel,” said Sheldon Hutton chief executive officer of UDS.
