New Commercial Manager for Modus

Modus Seabed Intervention has strengthened its management team with the recruitment of Guy Lainchbury, who joins Modus as commercial manager.

Lainchbury has previously worked as commercial manager for Saipem and more recently as tendering director for Subsea 7, where he worked for 10 years.

Nigel Ward, commercial director of Modus Seabed Intervention, said: “We are very pleased that Guy has joined the Modus team. Modus will continue to expand into new markets and introduce new innovative technology whilst maintaining our focus on customer satisfaction. Guy is a recognised subsea construction commercial expert with unrivalled international experience, which will be a clear asset to Modus as we continue to innovate and target our ambitious growth plans.”

Guy Lainchbury said: “Using my experience in a new commercial venture will enable Modus to leverage the unique position it has in its existing and new market segments to further meet ever-increasing subsea challenges. Modus’ technology-focused approach is very clear and I am delighted to be part of a company that drives itself to be at the forefront of its sector.”
