UK: VERIPOS Secures Extension of Contract with Siem Meling Offshore
VERIPOS has recently secured an extension of its contract with Siem Meling Offshore DA, the Stavanger-based specialist shipping concern jointly owned by Siem Offshore and OH Meling.
The three year contract extension is for the continued provision of precision GNSS positioning facilities to support Siem Meling Offshore’s fleet of Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs).
VERIPOS is responsible for providing its dual beam VERIPOS Standard positioning service for the companys Siem Pilot and Siem Sailor PSVs, both of which are also equipped with proprietary LD2 integrated mobile receivers for real-time processing of data. Similar hardware is also to be installed aboard Siddis Mariner which is being provided with VERIPOS’s Standard Plus and GLONASS positioning service.
Other vessels joining Siem Meling Offshores PSV fleet will be supplied with similar VERIPOS positioning services and equipment.
