VSMC to Complete Cable Termination at DanTysk Offshore Wind Farm

VSMC has been contracted by DanTysk Offshore Wind to complete the installation and termination of infield cables for the DanTysk offshore wind farm.

Cable activities in the German North Sea started in July last year. VSMC will step in this month to complete the termination of the cables that have already been installed. The installation and termination of the remaining cables will resume in April.

DanTysk offshore wind farm

The DanTysk offshore wind farm is being built by Vattenfall and Stadtwerke München and is situated west of the island of Sylt and directly on the German-Danish border. With 80 wind turbines in total, DanTysk will provide up to 400,000 homes with green energy.
