Deep BV Conducts Borssele Wind Farm Zone Geophysical Survey

Deep BV, a Dutch company specializing in hydrography, geophysics and oceanography, has been awarded a five-year framework agreement to undertake geophysical soil investigations for offshore wind farm zones in the Netherlands.

Furthermore, the company has sealed the deal for its first job within the agreement, which will be to carry out geophysical soil investigations at two wind farm sites within the Borssele Wind Farm Zone. The Borssele Zone comprises four offshore wind farm sites covering an area of approximately 344 square kilometers.

The body in charge of awarding these contracts is the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl), part of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.

After the geophysical, the geotechnical survey will be done, and the overall soil analysis will help create a revised version of the Project and site description.
