Polarcus Board Member Leaves

Dubai based seismic contractor, Polarcus, has announced that Hege Sjo will resign from the Board of Directors effective February 2, 2015.

Accoring to the company, Sjo has accepted an appointment as Deputy Director General in the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries, and is therefore unable to continue as a board member at Polarcus.

Currently a senior advisor for Hermes Investment Management, Hege Sjo holds a business degree from Stirling University, Scotland and a post-graduate degree in Corporate Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics. She is also a Board member of Det Norske Oljeselskap ASA, Marine Harvest ASA and Wilh Wilhelmsen ASA, all in Norway.

Hege Sjo has been a member of the Board of Polarcus since June 2008.
