Rem Offshore Boss to Step Down

Åge Remøy

Norwegian vessel owner Rem Offshore has appointed Arild Myrvoll as its new CEO, effective May 01, 2016.

Myrvoll will succeed Åge Remøy, majority owner and founder of Rem Offshore ASA, following his decision to resign, the Fosnavåg-based company said Monday.

Employed in the Rem Group since May 2007, Myrvoll has since held the position as CFO of Rem Offshore ASA.

He has also acted as a deputy to the CEO.

The company said it will immediately start the process of finding a replacement for Myrvoll as Rem Offshore’s CFO.
