UK: ACE Winches Announces Appointment of New CFO
ACE Winches, a global leader in the provision of winch and marine deck machinery has appointed Sam Morrison as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to strengthen the current Board of Management.
Sam comes to ACE Winches from Baker Hughes where he was Region Controller Asia Pacific, a role he held for four years while based in Singapore. He has extensive experience as a Financial Controller in the energy sector spanning various continents including Europe, Asia and the USA. Sam is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has previously worked for two of the sector’s leading firms; Deloitte and PWC.
Welcoming Sam to the company Alfie Cheyne, CEO of ACE Winches said: “Sam brings to us a wealth of knowledge and experience in the energy accounting sector across a breadth of international locations. Valerie Cheyne (former CFO) will continue her position on the Board of Management as an Executive Director assuming a number of new responsibilities not least in further developing the strategic and international growth of the business.”
