TERNA SpA Invites Tenders for Submarine Cable Project Between Italy and Montenegro

 

TERNA SpA annonces tender for supply and laying of submarine and land connecting bipolar ± KVcc 500, 1 000 MW (cable pin 1 and 2) HVDC Italy-Montenegro, called “Monet.”

This includes the supply and installation of marine electrodes and their monopolar cables electrode for operation of an emergency, with the option to provide guards, polo marine cables, optical fiber and electrodes.

It also includes an emergency faults call-out service (inlcuding survey, research, detection and repair of the fault) resulting from external causes or actions of third parties, cables to be supplied, for a period of 10 years from the date of entry into operation of the facility.

Divided into lots - tenders may be submitted for part or whole.

Project period is 59 months from date of contract award, and tender deadline is 3.11.2011.
